Photosymphony on the Delano Lawn
Millie Brown's Photosymphony: A Live Plant Orchestra makes its public debut on the Delano lawn for Art Week, with Prima and the Delano as co-hosts. Living plants wired to biofeedback sensors drive a generative soundscape while scent moves through the space, composed for the lawn with native plants.
On the lawn
Nov 30 – Dec 6
Opening
150 – 250 guests

Through Dec 6, open to extension. Prima hosts small groups through the week; open to Delano guests.
A private preview and an artist talk, Delano-only, if the club wants them.
What the Delano provides
- —The lawn for install, the run of the show and deinstall
- —Site services, security and hospitality for the week
- —Ben Pundole's creative direction, with Kaitlin Prince on events
- —Co-host billing on the opening and the installation
What Prima brings
- —Millie Brown and her studio, adapting Photosymphony for the lawn
- —Production and opening night funded by Prima's brand partners
- —Prima concierges, partners and members as guests
- —World Red Eye and BFA photographing the opening
What's in it for the Delano
The public debut of Brown's work on its own lawn, with no production cost to the Delano.
Members see it first. The Delano's name is on the installation, the opening and the press. Every group Prima hosts walks onto the property, and because Prima records every booking back to who made it, the Delano sees which concierges brought guests and who to build with after Art Week.
Brown has shown at Tate Britain, MOCA Miami, LACMA and Brooklyn Museum, with coverage in The New York Times, Artforum and Artnet.
